Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
We will meet and welcome you upon arrival in Nairobi. After a short briefing you will leave on a road trip to Amboseli National park which is close to the border of Kenya and Tanzania. You check in at Kibo Safari Camp Amboseli in time for lunch. After lunch you will go for an afternoon game drive till evening.
Amboseli is home to the African elephant and during this tour you are likely to encounter large herds of elephants as they cross from one side of the park to the next.
Big cats are also common in this park. They include lions, leopard and cheetah among others. You have best chances to see the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park to Tsavo West Park
You will start your day with an early morning game drive. This game drive gives you the chance to see some of the elusive big cats like the leopard hunting. Thereafter you return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will check out and leave for Tsavo West National Park. (about 2 hours drive).
Tsavo west national park has spectacular features that include lava flows, Mzima springs, roaring rocks and thick African bush. It is know as the land of lions and lava.
You will get to tour some of these scenic places before checking in for lunch at Kilaguni Serena safari lodge. The rest of afternoon will be at leisure to enjoy the lodge facilities and simply unwind.
Day 3: Tsavo West National Park
You will leave for an early morning game drive in search of lions and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and take the rest of the morning for leisure. After lunch you will set off for more game drives till evening. You have a chance to see the African sunset.
Return to the lodge for another relaxing evening and enjoy the African cuisine.
Elephants and buffaloes are frequent visitors right near your room by the water hole. You get to observe these animals quite close as they also unwind in the evening.
Day 4: Tsavo West National Park to Nairobi
After an early breakfast you will check out of the lodge. You will have a last game drive through the park with good chances to see Big Cats hunting or sharing a kill. Some of the elusive animals like the leopard may be seen. Alternatively you can have a relaxed morning at the lodge and check out at 10 am. Afterwards you leave Tsavo West National Park towards Nairobi where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Drop off can be at your hotel in Nairobi or airport.
